This weekend, the Food & Wine Festival will take place in its 2024 edition in Mexico City, specifically at the Hipódromo Las Américas, on November 16 and 17. During the festival, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the best of international and national gourmet cuisine, as well as participate in activities and classes that will enrich their culinary knowledge.
One of the scheduled seminars is Best Chefs, where a select group of Mexican chefs will share their culinary knowledge through talks and activities. There will also be a Liquid World section focused on mixology and bartending, where attendees can learn through lectures and live tastings. Lastly, the World Cuisines seminar will feature more than 60 chefs, both national and international, showcasing their culinary skills through masterclasses and exclusive tastings.
During the event, attendees can enjoy areas such as VIP tents, where brands invite their clients to private experiences, and 360° Kiosks, where gourmet brands will present their products in circular spaces with private lounge areas. There will also be more than 80 gourmet spaces, as well as themed tents where masterclasses on gastronomy, wines, spirits, and mixology will take place. For the little ones, there will be a Kids Lounge with games and entertainment.
Regarding pairing, Bohemia, the Mexican brewery, will be the official host offering variants of Vienna, Pilsner, Cristal, and Weizen beer. Each type of beer will be recommended for different culinary preparations, from spicy dishes to light appetizers. The goal of the festival is not only to delight attendees with delicious dishes and drinks but also to enrich and renew the Mexican gastronomic scene.
