Metro Service Disruptions in Mexico City

On Friday, November 15, several incidents were reported in the Collective Transportation System Metro of Mexico City (CDMX).

On Line 5, a user reported that the train they were traveling on stopped at a station without power. The Metro has not provided explanations regarding this incident so far.

On the other hand, Line 7 experienced service issues, with users reporting anomalies in the movement of the trains. On social media, it has been expressed that the line is not functioning properly and requests are being made to seek alternative transportation.

Regarding Line 12, delays in its movement have also been recorded, causing discomfort among users. Despite the complaints, the Metro has only mentioned that there is a high influx of passengers as the cause of the delays, without offering further details on the matter.

Line A, which runs from La Paz to Pantitlán and vice versa, has shown intermittent service, with trains taking time to move between stations. Despite criticisms on social media about the management of the line, the Metro assures that the waiting time between trains is 6 minutes.

In light of these situations, users of the Metro of Mexico City are advised to stay informed about the status of the different lines and to plan their trips in advance.
