On Friday, January 24, the Hoy No Circula program will be in effect in all municipalities of the State of Mexico and the 16 boroughs of Mexico City. Vehicles with blue stickers, plate endings 9 and 0, and hologram 1 and 2 must remain at home during this day.
In case of doubts about whether there will be a double Hoy No Circula due to contingency, the answer is negative, as air quality remained "good" the previous day, therefore the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis has not declared an environmental contingency in the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico.
This Friday, electric and hybrid cars can circulate without restrictions, vehicles with ecological license plates or exempt hologram type, those with hologram "00" or "0", as well as those designated for the health sector, school transport, funeral processions, persons with disabilities, funeral services, among others identified in the current verification provisions.
It is important to remember that the Hoy No Circula is applied only in case of an environmental contingency to reduce ozone particles in the environment. Verify the conditions corresponding to your vehicle and avoid inconveniences!
