Actress Imelda Tuñón presented negative results in toxicology tests for drugs, after sharing on social media the evidence to demonstrate that there are no traces of substances in her body.

"I expected the tests to pass and prove that they are not altered. Don't let permanent marks continue to be generated on my son!" the young woman expressed in reference to an ongoing investigation for alleged domestic violence against her son and actress Maribel Guardia.

Maribel Guardia, for her part, indicated that the negative tests of Imelda Tuñón have already been integrated into the investigation file. So far, Imelda Tuñón does not have access to her son while the investigation is resolved and it is determined whether she is fit to be with him, or if Maribel Guardia retains custody.

The actress of "Al diablo con los guapos" agrees that a child should be with their mother if she is fit to care for him, but does not rule out keeping custody of José Julián Figueroa if the situation requires it.

The Prosecutor's Office will be in charge of determining the best situation for the 7-year-old child amid this family controversy. The complaint of domestic violence by Maribel Guardia against Imelda Tuñón generated reactions since January 21, leading to an ongoing investigation.

In a press conference, Maribel Guardia communicated that the Prosecutor's Office decided that her grandson José Julián remains in her custody for at least 90 more days while the complementary investigation is carried out. The actress also mentioned certain measures she must comply with during this time, including periodic visits to her home by the DIF.

On the other hand, Maribel Guardia responded to questions about the toxicology tests of Imelda Tuñón, stating that the validity of the tests will only be determined by the Prosecutor's Office at the appropriate time.

Amid this situation, Maribel Guardia reaffirmed her desire for her grandson to return to her care if it is proven that she can provide him with a safe and stable environment, although she emphasized that the law will be responsible for deciding what is best for the child.
