Regarding rainfall, intervals of showers are expected in several states of the country, with heavy localized rains in Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas, and Tabasco. Isolated rains could occur in Nuevo León and Yucatán. On the other hand, some regions of the country will reach maximum temperatures of 35 to 40 degrees, while others will experience maximums of 30 to 35 degrees.
These meteorological conditions are generated by a low-pressure channel over the southeastern part of the country and the influx of humidity from the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea. Rainfall of varying intensity is expected in several states of the country, with significant winds in certain regions. During the early morning and the morning of Monday, February 3, fog banks and a cold to cool environment are expected in the region, with very cold temperatures in elevated areas of the State of Mexico.
