
A fire at Plaza Artz Pedregal, located in the south of Mexico City, triggered an immediate evacuation of customers and workers, as well as an intense mobilization of emergency services. According to initial reports, the fire started in a store in the shopping center, causing a dense column of smoke that alerted those present.
Members of the Heroic Fire Department and Civil Protection personnel arrived at the site to extinguish the fire and coordinate the evacuation of people in the building. So far, no injuries have been reported, but an inspection is being carried out to rule out possible structural risks in the plaza.
On social media, several witnesses shared images and videos of the smoke coming out of the shopping center, causing concern among the population. Authorities are expected to provide more information about the origin of the fire and possible material damages in the facility in the coming hours.
