Controversy Surrounding Influencer Attack Case

Recently, Saskia Niño de Rivera expressed her outrage and concern over the lack of reaction and criticism towards Marianne 'N' after the influencer allegedly stabbed Valentina Gilabert in Mexico City. Niño de Rivera compared this case to that of Rodolfo 'Fofo' Márquez, convicted of attempted femicide, and questioned whether public opinion would be equally apathetic if the aggressor had not been a woman.

The activist also criticized the possible legal process that Marianne 'N' would face, suggesting that the severity of the case is being minimized by considering it as injuries, despite the critical condition Valentina is in. Niño de Rivera highlighted that women can also be femicides and pointed out the limited attention this case has received on social media compared to others of a similar nature.

Valentina Gilabert, the 17-year-old girl who was stabbed, has been admitted to intensive care and is fighting for her life due to the multiple injuries suffered, including punctured lungs, internal bleeding, and damage to different parts of her body. According to her father, Ernesto Gilabert, Valentina's situation is critical and she has needed urgent medical intervention to stabilize her.

The events, according to the victim's family account, unfolded when Marianne 'N' discovered Valentina's relationship with her ex-boyfriend, which provoked the violent attack that left the young girl in serious condition. Although Niño de Rivera has raised the possibility of classifying the crime as femicide, authorities have not yet confirmed how they will legally proceed in this case.
