During the C4 alert broadcast, journalist Carlos Jiménez emphasized that the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City had had the fingerprints of Víctor López, the alleged serial rapist who attacked female taxi drivers, since 2014, but the Sex Crimes Prosecutor's Office did not act. "The guy raped at least three more women while the prosecutor's office already had those fingerprints. However, they chose not to do anything," he lamented.

It is known that Víctor Manuel López Hurtado lived in Pachuca, was married, had children, and only visited Mexico City to commit crimes. He resided in Cuajimalpa, the neighborhood where he attacked his victims. C4 in alert revealed that the alleged serial rapist had a criminal record since 2014 and confessed that he robbed male Uber drivers but raped women.

Carlos Jiménez also pointed out that the authorities had Víctor López's fingerprints in criminal records since 2014, but the Sex Crimes Prosecutor's Office did not act to stop him, allowing him to continue committing crimes and causing suffering to more victims. Finally, thanks to the intervention of prosecutor Berta Alcalde and the work of the agents, the serial rapist was arrested and is in the East Prison.
