Today No Circulation: Vehicle Restrictions in CDMX

On Tuesday, March 3rd, the Hoy No Circula program will be in effect in Mexico City across the 16 boroughs, as well as in 18 surrounding municipalities of the State of Mexico. Vehicles with pink stickers, license plates ending in 7 and 8, and holograms 1 or 2 must remain at home.

There will be no double Hoy No Circula as there is no alert for poor air quality. This program is only applied in case of environmental contingency to reduce pollution.

On Tuesday, March 4th, electric and hybrid cars, vehicles with ecological plates or exempt holograms, those with holograms "00" or "0", as well as private vehicles from the health sector, school transport, funeral services, for people with disabilities, and public transport that comply with the corresponding verifications will be allowed to circulate.

Motorcycles with a valid Tourist Pass, cars with permission from the Secretariat of the Environment, and cars with red, blue, yellow, or green stickers will also be allowed to circulate.
