On the morning of March 9, temperatures in the high areas of the State of Mexico will be cool to mild, with values between -5 and 0 °C, which could result in frost in elevated areas. As the day progresses, the weather will become warm to hot in the region, reaching between 28 and 30 °C in Mexico City.
The National Meteorological Service (SMN) has forecast a day of stable weather and warm conditions for the Valley of Mexico, due to anticyclonic circulation at mid-levels and low humidity in the region. The day is expected to remain mostly clear, with some cloudy intervals throughout the day, especially in the State of Mexico, where isolated light and short-lived rains may be recorded, with a probability of 0.1 to 5 mm in 24 hours.
The wind in the region will blow from the south at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, with gusts of up to 40 km/h, which could generate a noticeable change in weather conditions during the day. As for precipitation, no significant rain is expected in Mexico City, keeping the day rain-free.
With a minimum estimated between 11 and 13 °C in the capital, there will be a considerable thermal difference between morning and afternoon, accompanied by mostly clear skies, which will contribute to a warmer environment during the afternoon. Additionally, the wind, which could generate dust devils, will slightly increase the thermal sensation and heat during the more intense hours of the day.
