In Mexico City and in 18 municipalities in the State of Mexico, the Hoy No Circula program will be implemented this Tuesday, March 18, for vehicles with a pink sticker, license plate endings 7 and 8, and that have hologram 1 or 2. This measure is taken with the aim of reducing air pollution in the region.
There will be no double Hoy No Circula this Tuesday, as the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis has not issued an alert for poor air quality conditions, nor have any problems with ozone particles been detected. The program is activated only in case of an environmental contingency.
Vehicles that will be allowed to circulate this Tuesday, March 18, are electric and hybrid cars, those with ecological plates or exempt type holograms, vehicles with hologram "00" or "0", as well as those intended for the health sector, school transport, funeral processions, people with disabilities, and public passenger and tourism services, among others.
In summary, the authorized vehicles to circulate are those with hologram "00" or "0", electric and hybrid cars, vehicles with ecological plates or exempt type holograms, and those intended for essential services such as the health sector, school and funeral transport, as well as people with disabilities.
