The "Hoy No Circula" program will be in effect regularly this Wednesday, April 16, in the 18 municipalities surrounding the State of Mexico and in the 16 boroughs of Mexico City, as the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis did not declare an environmental contingency. The measure affects vehicles with red stickers, hologram 1 or 2, and plates ending in 3 and 4, with a restriction on circulation from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Regarding the possibility of a double Hoy No Circula this Wednesday, it was confirmed that such a measure will not be applied, as air quality was considered "acceptable" on Tuesday, April 15, so no environmental contingency was declared. This program is only implemented in case of a contingency to reduce pollution.

Vehicles that will be able to circulate without restrictions this Wednesday, April 16, include electric and hybrid cars, those with ecological license plates or exempt holograms, as well as those with holograms "00" or "0". Health vehicles, school transport, funeral processions, persons with disabilities, public passenger transport, motorcycles with valid Tourist Pass, and cars with pink, blue, yellow, and green stickers are also exempt.

In summary, the "Hoy No Circula" program will be applied as usual this Wednesday, and there will be no double restriction. Vehicles with specific holograms and those intended for specialized services will be able to circulate without issues.
