According to the Hoy No Circula program in the 18 municipalities surrounding the State of Mexico and the 16 boroughs of Mexico City, this Monday, April 21, 2025, vehicles with license plates ending in 5 and 6, yellow sticker, and hologram 1 or 2 must stay at home. Although there will be no double program this Monday, as there are no issues with ozone particles and the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis has not issued an alert for poor air quality.
The Hoy No Circula program is activated only in case of environmental contingencies to reduce pollution. Vehicles that can circulate this Monday are: electric cars, hybrids, those registered ecologically or with exempt type hologram, those with holograms "00" or "0", private vehicles of health workers with a valid ID, ambulances, school transportation, staff transport, funeral processions, disabled cars with special permits, public service vehicles, motorcycles with a valid Tourist Pass, and cars with red, blue, pink, and green stickers.
