
This Monday, May 5, 2025, vehicles with yellow stickers and license plate endings 5 and 6, that have hologram 1 or 2, must stay home in the 18 municipalities adjoining the State of Mexico and in the 16 boroughs of Mexico City due to the Hoy No Circula program.
The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has not issued an alert for poor air quality, so there will be no double Hoy No Circula this Monday. This program is implemented only in case of environmental contingencies to reduce pollution.
The vehicles that may circulate this Monday, May 5, are as follows: - Electric and hybrid cars, vehicles with ecological license plates or exempt hologram type. - Vehicles with holograms "00" or "0". - Health sector vehicles with valid credentials, including paramedics and administrative personnel, as well as ambulances. - School and staff transport vehicles, funeral processions, and funeral service transportation with valid hologram. - Cars for persons with disabilities with a permit to exempt from Hoy No Circula. - Public passenger and tourism service vehicles with federal or local plates that meet the current verification requirements. - Motorcycles, cars with valid Tourist Pass or with permission granted by the Ministry of Environment. - Cars with red, blue, pink, and green stickers.
