This operational adjustment strengthened the Institute's capacity to respond to greater demand without compromising the stability of its medical staff. The sustained increase in surgeries and consultations translated into shorter waiting times, one of the central objectives of the institutional strategy focused on the Dignified Treatment of beneficiaries. The ISSSTE anticipates that, even with current installed capacity, there is room to continue growing, particularly with the progressive expansion of infrastructure and the strengthening of care models.
