On Saturday, President Claudia Sheinbaum announced that between February and March of this year, the credentialization process will begin to homologate medical care under IMSS Bienestar, IMSS, and ISSSTE. The goal is to consolidate Universal Health Services by 2030. 'All Mexicans will have their health credential, knowing which clinic or health center corresponds to them. With this credential, they will have their medical file, which can be shared even if they are here in Zaragoza or on vacation and fall ill,' Sheinbaum said during the inauguration of the hospital. She previously highlighted that the 'Ignacio Zaragoza' hospital is one of the most relevant health infrastructures in the capital, reaffirming the vision of the Fourth Transformation to guarantee access to health as a right. Since its opening in 53 days, the hospital has registered over 10,000 specialty consultations and 271 surgeries.
