When air quality drops to concerning levels, the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) imposes additional restrictions to protect public health. Users of the Mexico City Metro should be aware that Line 2 will be under construction, with RTP bus service available for several stations. You can be fined in the 16 boroughs of Mexico City and in the 18 surrounding municipalities of the State of Mexico for not respecting 'Hoy No Circula'. This Saturday, March 28, vehicles with hologram 1 and even-numbered plates (2, 4, 6, 8, and 0) cannot circulate. Additionally, vehicles with hologram 2, regardless of the last digit of the plate, and out-of-state vehicles are also restricted. The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) clarifies that out-of-state vehicles with these characteristics are also prohibited from circulating on designated routes. On other days of the week, the rules are as follows: Tuesday is for pink stickers with numbers 7 and 8; Wednesday for red with 3 and 4; Thursday for green with 1 and 2; and Friday for blue with 9 or 0. The restriction also applies to the municipalities of Tecámac, Tlalnepantla de Baz, Tultitlán, and Valle de Chalco.
