Mexico City will face a significant temperature drop during the early morning and first hours of Saturday, March 28, which has led authorities to activate preventive alerts for various boroughs. According to official information, an unusually cold environment is expected for this time of year, with conditions that could affect public health, especially in high-altitude and vulnerable areas. The Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection reported that an Orange Alert has been activated in Tlalpan, where temperatures between 1 and 3 degrees Celsius are forecast, as well as frosts between 00:00 and 08:00 on Saturday, March 28. Likewise, a Yellow Alert remains in place in the Álvaro Obregón, Cuajimalpa, La Magdalena Contreras, Milpa Alta, and Xochimilco boroughs, with estimated temperatures between 4 and 6 degrees Celsius during the same period. In contrast, some areas of the country will continue to record maximum temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius. The agency warned that, starting Sunday, rains could intensify in different regions, marking a significant change in weather conditions nationwide. Authorities recommend wearing at least three layers of clothing, avoiding sudden temperature changes, and keeping the skin hydrated.
