Actress and singer Taylor Momsen was hospitalized after a spider bite. The incident occurred shortly before her opening performance for AC/DC in Mexico. In her Instagram post, she shared a video showing her swollen and red leg. "So it wouldn't be a tour if something didn't bite me. This time a huge spider decided to leave me its venom," she wrote. Momsen received medical attention on-site, receiving an injection of dexamethasone to relieve pain and swelling. Despite the incident, she still performed on stage but was hospitalized afterward for the entire night. "I was hospitalized, thanks to the incredible doctors who, well, they know," she provided an update on her condition.
