Today No Driving: Restrictions for October 21

This Monday, October 21, 2024, the Hoy No Circula program will be carried out in all municipalities of the State of Mexico and in the 16 boroughs of Mexico City. Vehicles with yellow stickers, plate endings 5 and 6, and holograms 1 or 2 must remain at home.

Regarding the question of whether there will be a double Hoy No Circula for this day, the answer is no. The Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe) has not issued an alert for air quality problems due to ozone particles, so the program remains unchanged except in cases of environmental contingency.

The vehicles that may circulate this Monday include electric and hybrid cars, those with ecological plates or exempt holograms, vehicles with hologram “00” or “0”, as well as private vehicles of health sector workers with a valid credential and ambulances. School transport vehicles, funeral processions, funeral transportation, cars for people with disabilities with a Permit to exempt from Hoy No Circula, cars identified as public passenger service and tourism, motorcycles with a valid Tourist Pass, and cars with red, blue, pink, and green stickers are also exempt.
