According to testimonies, a motorist who was with Juan Carlos called for help from the elements of the Citizen Security Secretariat who were present at the event. Despite the tragedy, authorities informed attendees that the death was due to natural and not violent causes. When the Rescue and Medical Emergencies Squad (ERUM) arrived, paramedics confirmed that the victim no longer showed vital signs. The family tried to take Juan Carlos to the General Hospital of Mexico City due to respiratory problems, but unfortunately, the young man lost consciousness along the way. The body remained on the asphalt while the participants in the ride continued their route. Subsequently, a blanket with the phrase 'Respect and yield to pedestrians' was placed to cover the area where the death occurred, while the place was cordoned off.
