No Drive Day in Mexico City

This Tuesday, October 22, all vehicles with pink stickers, plate endings 7 and 8, and that have hologram 1 or 2 in the State of Mexico and the 16 boroughs of Mexico City must remain at home following the Hoy No Circula program.

According to the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis (CAMe), no double restriction on circulation will be applied this day, as no alert has been issued due to ozone problems or poor air quality. The extraordinary Hoy No Circula is implemented exclusively in case of environmental contingency to reduce pollution.

The vehicles that will be allowed to circulate this Tuesday, October 22, are: electric and hybrid cars, vehicles with ecological plates or exempt holograms, those with hologram "00" or "0", units for personal use of health personnel, school and staff transport, cars intended for funerals, vehicles for people with disabilities with the corresponding permit, public service cars complying with current verifications, motorcycles with a Tourist Pass or permission from the Secretary of the Environment, and cars with stickers of red, blue, yellow, and green colors.
