
The Metro Collective Transportation System reported that the progress of the trains in several lines presents different situations. According to the official MetroViral account, 40% of the trains in the network lack proper maintenance, which has generated complaints from workers.
In Line 9 (brown), there is high ridership with an interval of five minutes between trains, while in Line A (purple), the maximum ridership results in a delay of six minutes in train progress. As for Line B (green and silver) and Line 12 (gold), maximum ridership is reported with an interval of six minutes between trains.
On the other hand, Metro CDMX sent empty trains due to user complaints, especially in Line 4 (aqua green) and Line 5 (yellow), where high ridership is recorded with intervals of five minutes between trains. In Line 6 (red), the ridership is high with a frequency of five minutes in train progress.
Users have reported various incidents during their journey on several lines, such as in Line 1 (pink), where high ridership is recorded with an interval of five minutes between trains. In Line 7 (orange), maximum ridership causes a delay of six minutes in train progress, while in Line 8 (dark green) there is the longest delay of the day, reaching eight minutes in the progress of the trains.
Despite these situations, the segment from Observatorio to Cuauhtémoc, which encompasses seven stations, remains closed. In Line 2 (royal blue), the maximum ridership translates to a train passing every six minutes, and in Line 3 (olive green), maximum ridership is recorded with a delay of seven minutes in train progress. However, users have expressed their discontent due to a greater delay at the Mixcoac terminal, specifically at the Periférico station.
