The political party issued a statement expressing 'its total support' for the president and the program 'Mexico embraces you', launched to welcome people deported by U.S. authorities. The head of government affirmed that CDMX will join the program with full support to receive migrants in the capital or assist them in their transfers to their cities of origin.
The announced immigration policy by Claudia Sheinbaum received backing from the head of government, Clara Brugada. It will focus on assisting migrants currently on the streets of the capital and those who may arrive in the coming days. To this end, there are plans to relocate homeless individuals to different parts of the city, with renovation and reorganization work in shelters and transit locations.
Mexico City will seek to provide the best support and solidarity in this regard. It was ensured that all necessary backing will be provided as required by the strategy.
