Morena Accelerates Membership Process in CDMX

The party's membership process in Mexico City is being reinforced with a series of meetings scheduled for the coming days, aimed at advancing in different neighborhoods and municipalities. So far, the membership process in the capital is led by federal structures and some sectors of the state committee, with prominent figures such as Héctor Díaz-Polanco, Alicia Barrientos, and Gerardo Trejo.

Specifically, in Mexico City, local and territorial structures are focused on enrolling 900,000 people as part of the main objective for the year 2025, required by the federal party president, Luisa María Alcalde, and the secretary of Organization, Andrés Manuel López Beltrán. At the national level, the goal is to enroll ten million people to consolidate the party's position as the dominant political force in the country.

Meetings are being organized with different sectors of local politics, and a meeting is anticipated with the municipalities governed by the party, in order to advance the membership process. Additionally, there will be close collaboration with the Morena parliamentary group to ensure that relevant figures promote their own membership processes and contribute to the overall objective.

On the other hand, meetings are expected to be held in the coming days between national structures and representatives from Mexico City to continue strengthening the membership process. The coordination of efforts will be overseen by Iruguami Perea, a liaison with the national leadership and close to Andy López Beltrán, to ensure that the objectives established by the party are met.
