The CDMX government prepares for new actions

The ruling party made important advancements on its plans for the year 2025 in various areas such as security, housing, water, and citizen participation, among others. The party coordinator in the local Congress, Xóchitl Bravo, emphasized that they will focus on maintaining a closer relationship with the local citizenry by visiting municipalities and neighborhoods in the coming weeks.

Regarding appointments to key positions in the central administration, the individuals who will occupy these positions have not yet been determined. These appointments are expected to be key to advancing issues such as the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the Electoral Crimes unit, or the PAOT in the next Legislature, which will begin on February 1.

The ruling party plans to hold debate and informational forums on abortion, as well as continue metropolitan forums alongside representatives from states close to the capital. Additionally, a city-wide campaign against extortion will be carried out, a crime recently classified as serious by Congress following an initiative from the Chief of Government, Clara Brugada.

On the other hand, it was mentioned that the 4T bench in the CDMX Congress outlined the legislative strategy it will implement starting next month when ordinary sessions resume at the Palacio de Donceles. Although an extraordinary session was expected to address pending appointments, it ultimately did not take place.
