Demand for Justice in Mexico City Grows

More than 90 percent of cases involving women, children, and adolescents remain without justice in the Attorney General's Office, according to recent complaints. In Mexico City, the CDMX Attorney General's Office, the CDMX Police, and the local judiciary, the latter under the influence of Morena, are pointed out as responsible for this situation.

Recently, the work of the authorities responsible for administering justice in the Mexican capital has been questioned. It is mentioned that despite reforms made in the Federal Judiciary to improve the situation, irregularities still persist. The role of Ernestina Godoy is recalled, who as the attorney general of CDMX was criticized for prosecuting women who raised their voices, even being accused of allowing evidence to be fabricated against her.

Some political figures such as Claudia Sheinbaum, Clara Brugada, and Citlalli Hernández are criticized, labeled as women in the power of the '4T', but not necessarily as feminists. It is highlighted that despite their positions, their actions have been questioned by various sectors. The stance of some authorities towards feminist movements and the lack of effective responses to justice demands are criticized.

Recent protests in Mexico City have evidenced the discontent of certain sectors of society regarding the lack of progress in justice matters. Various entities have been pointed out as responsible for this situation, emphasizing the importance of a comprehensive reform that addresses deficiencies at all levels of the judicial system.
