Aleska Génesis Detained Again in Mexico City

Influencer Aleska Génesis is being linked as a supposed member of a gang dedicated to stealing luxury watches and was handed over to the Attorney General of Justice of Mexico City after leaving the Endemol and Telemundo reality show. This is the second time that Génesis has been implicated in this crime, with Francisco Javier Rodríguez Borgio, founder of Big Bola Casino, filing the complaint against her. In the past, she was detained at Mexico City's International Airport.

A judge ordered the immediate release of Aleska Génesis after leaving La Casa de los Famosos All Stars, but she was taken to the Santa Martha Acatitla prison after her expulsion from the reality show. She is currently undergoing legal proceedings and must comply with certain precautionary measures, such as signing periodically and submitting immigration documents to avoid leaving the country.

Aleska Génesis' detention was due to her alleged connection with a gang that specializes in stealing luxury watches, marking the second time she faces accusations for a similar crime. On a previous occasion, in 2024, she was arrested for vandalism and theft of items valued at an estimated 500 thousand dollars. The Attorney General of Mexico City accuses her of stealing high-end watches in Mexico City and possibly selling them in Miami, Florida.

Aleska Génesis' sister, Michell Roxana, has stated that the influencer's detention was premeditated and illegal, claiming there was no arrest warrant against her. Roxana accuses Rodríguez Borgio of abuse of power and corruption, stating that there are no real evidence against her, only lies.

Born in Venezuela in 1991, Aleska Génesis is known for her relationship with Nicky Jam and her participation in reality shows like La Casa de los Famosos. Recently, her detention after leaving the reality show has generated controversy, with her sister denouncing possible errors in the legal procedure. Aleska has been granted a definitive suspension in her amparo trial, allowing her to continue her normal life while it remains in effect.
