A video went viral on social media on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, showing a white-skinned individual making racist and humiliating comments towards passengers of the Collective Transportation System (STC) Metro in Mexico City (CDMX). In the recording, a young, thin white-skinned man wearing a beige hat, blue pants, and a blue shirt with white stripes can be seen hurling insults at users in an STC car.
In the video, the individual, holding a mobile phone, makes racist and misogynistic remarks towards the passengers. He criticizes people for their skin color and makes derogatory comments about a woman, calling her ugly and dark-skinned, while claiming it’s easy to choose between him and her. These comments were widely shared on social media.
During the conversation, he expresses his aversion towards dark-skinned people, stating he feels disgusted being near someone with that skin color. Despite his racist comments, the man remains in the car without any authority forcing him to leave the unit.
Metro authorities requested the user who shared the video to provide them with information about the car where the incident took place; however, it is unknown whether the aggressor faced consequences for his actions.
