Mexico City approved the regulation of bullfighting, becoming a significant step in defense of animal rights. The head of Government, Clara Brugada, celebrated this decision made by the capital's Congress, which aims to prevent acts of violence and cruelty towards fighting bulls during these shows.

"With this approval, our city commits not only to animal welfare but also to what is established in our local and national constitutions, which mandate us to protect animals. This decision urges the bullfighting industry to transform and generate violence-free events," expressed Clara Brugada.
