In an image released by journalist Carlos Jiménez, Emilia Romero is seen with her hands apparently handcuffed behind her back and visibly affected, showing signs of crying. The woman, dressed in a brown t-shirt, black pants, and a bag of the same tone, will have to face accusations for the supposed murder of her boyfriend Daniel.
The tragedy occurred when, after leaving a hotel in Mexico City, Emilia and her boyfriend Jesús Daniel Flores had a strong argument in a moving truck. In a heated moment, Emilia allegedly pushed Jesús Daniel from the vehicle, causing his death after falling violently onto the asphalt.
Witnesses of the incident alerted emergency services, but when they arrived at the scene, Jesús Daniel was no longer showing vital signs. Elements of the Citizen Security Secretariat and the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City arrived at the scene to investigate what happened.
According to reports, the couple had left the hotel in a truck driven by Emilia headed to another location. What began as a private outing ended in tragedy, leaving Emilia detained and facing accusations for the death of her partner.
