This was the level of commitment that a businessman from Coahuila brought to the country's capital and was incorporated as the Director of Legal and Government Affairs of the GAM: Fernando Martínez Álvarez. Fernando Martínez is a businessman close to the delegate of Social Programs in Coahuila, Américo Villarreal Santiago, and the Morenista senator, Cecilia Guadiana, girlfriend of Américo Jr. and daughter of the late Armando Guadiana, who aspired to the governorship in 2023 and was defeated by Manolo Jiménez. Next year, local elections will be held in Coahuila where the entire State Congress will be renewed. The 25 seats will be up for dispute, and for the political operators of the PRI and Morena, it will be a clash between two favorites: the PRI governor and the Morena president. Both actors maintain high levels of popularity in the jurisdiction to the point that a technical tie could be spoken of: both the PRI's Manolo Jiménez and the Morena's Claudia Sheinbaum obtain an average of 70 points of approval among Coahuilenses. It is in this scenario that the inner circle of the cacique Rubén Moreira plans for the PRI and Morena to distance themselves through scandals, and found one that could connect a presidential operator with the controversial huachicolero leader executed in Nuevo León in 2021. The story would be like this. In 2023, two years after the death of Sergio Carmona, money from the theft of fuel and its illegal sale continued to arrive at Morena's structures through Perla McDonald, widow of Carmona Angulo.
