A massive protest march by Generation Z was derailed by the super-aggressive actions of the so-called "black bloc," a group specialized in urban combat that attacked police protecting the National Palace and smashed the facade of the Supreme Court building, with horrible graffiti against President Sheinbaum.
The vandalism began in the capital's Zócalo. An advance group attempted to penetrate the National Palace. Protesters managed to move aside the metal fences that protected the National Palace. The "black bloc" used homemade explosives.
The police corporation resisted and responded. At least a dozen injuries were reported. Three of them were police officers.
Graffiti with insults against President Sheinbaum on the vandalized Supreme Court building. The march included a column of older people, outside of Generation Z. Thousands of young people also gathered. The slogans predominated in memory of Carlos Manzo. The grandmother of the deceased mayor of Uruapan, Carlos Manzo, also attended the march.
