The Mexico City government has selected a new director for the local congress's television channel. After lengthy discussions and several rejected candidates, including proposals from former mayors, the choice fell on Jorge Armando Rocha Gutiérrez, a renowned journalist and son of the channel's first director. The decision was made unanimously. The new director will assume his duties and manage the channel until 2030. The goal of this reform is to modernize administration, improve the efficiency of resource use, and ensure more transparent communication with the public about the work of the legislative body.
