Dozens of people marched this Thursday from the Angel of Independence to the Historic Center, in response to the second call for demonstration by the so-called Generation Z.
The contingent faced off with riot police barriers on at least two occasions, which prevented the development of their protest.
The first was on Paseo de la Reforma to prevent them from passing the November 20th parade.
At the end of the official event, the line of riot police allowed them to pass until Avenida Palma, a block before the Zócalo of Mexico City, which was the final destination of the march.
The contingent of protesters shouted their demands to the federal government and, especially, to President Claudia Sheinbaum.
After 45 minutes without being allowed to pass, the contingent tried to enter via Avenida Madero, but again found a blockade by elements of the capital's police.
The group of protesters began to disintegrate at that point, claiming a violation of their right to protest and free movement.
No disturbances or violent incidents were recorded during this mobilization.
