The National Action Party (PAN) stated that its political goal for 2030 will be to remove the movement led by Morena from the federal government. Last weekend, during the XXVI Ordinary National Assembly and the XX Extraordinary National Assembly, held at Expo Santa Fe, national leader Jorge Romero Herrera established the path the party will follow in the coming years, with the presence of delegates from all 32 states and more than 7,000 members. In his message, Romero affirmed that PAN will be the alternative to restore institutional checks and balances. "Have no doubt: if we work together and united with strategy, in 2027 we will restore the balance in the Chamber of Deputies and in 2030 we will remove the Morena cartel from the National Palace," he declared to the gathered membership. The leader assured that the Assembly marks the beginning of a new stage for National Action, in which citizen participation will be expanded and affiliation will be facilitated through digital processes. He pointed out that the presented reforms seek to eliminate entry restrictions and allow anyone to join from their mobile phone. "Today PAN returns to being a true instrument of citizen participation, partisan or non-partisan," expressed Romero. Romero announced that the party will work on forming a broader territorial and digital structure, with a goal of recruiting 150,000 people to operate permanently throughout the country. He also announced that in 2026, the 'Plan of Action for Mexico' will be presented, a new national project with proposals on security, education, health, economy, environment, and social policy.
