The Attorney General's Office (FGR) reported this Saturday that it has extradited Faustino 'N' and Óscar 'N' to the United States. The first was wanted for the alleged sale of counterfeit medication 'containing substances with fentanyl,' and the second for sexual abuse and rape of a minor. In a statement, the FGR indicated that in compliance with the Extradition Treaty signed between Mexico and the U.S., the transfer of the individuals to the government of that country—for various crimes—was carried out at Mexico City International Airport (AICM) for their final transfer. The FGR detailed that Faustino 'N' was wanted by the Federal Court for the Southern District of California, 'for the probable commission of the crimes of criminal association and sale of counterfeit medication, as he was accused of importing substances containing fentanyl, as well as the sale of counterfeit medication.' It also specified that the wanted individual was arrested last August in the border city of Tijuana in the Mexican state of Baja California. It also explained that the extradition of Óscar 'N' came after he was wanted by the Superior Court of the state of California, in San Diego County, 'for the probable commission of the crimes of sexual abuse and rape, both against a minor.'
