Four people were detained by capital police for their alleged involvement in an armed attack last Friday against a business in Iztacalco that resulted in the death of a worker at a poultry shop and left another merchant injured. The Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) reported that the arrests occurred during an operation deployed in the Agrícola Pantitlán neighborhood, Iztacalco mayor's office. The aggression occurred on December 19 in a business located on Calle 4 and Avenida Unión. The aggressors left the premises and boarded a gray car. The SSC located the vehicle of the alleged aggressors on Avenida Unión and Calle 5. According to press reports, the target of the attack was a butcher shop adjacent to a poultry shop. The butcher shop employee was injured, so the poultry shop worker went to his aid and at that moment received two shots that caused his death. The recordings allowed the identification of the individuals who fired against the merchants, one of whom fell dead on the asphalt, while the other was injured.
