Mexico has extradited a group of alleged drug traffickers to the United States, including an Argentine identified as Manuel Ignacio Correa. According to the Argentine News Agency, Correa was known in Mexico as "El Argentino" and was one of the main targets in this extradition phase. The extradition operation took place at Mexico City International Airport, where Mexican authorities handed over 37 "drug lords." The extradited individuals are wanted by various U.S. federal district courts, where they will face charges for their role in the organization and international distribution of illicit substances. The mass extradition included members of Mexico's most important criminal organizations, such as the Sinaloa Cartel, the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), and the Beltrán Leyva Cartel.
