In Mexico City, the swearing-in ceremony for the new 2026 board of directors took place. Executive President Naim Escalante Félix presented the board members, who received their pins and took their formal oath. The event, held at the Universidad Panamericana, marked the beginning of a new cycle of citizen work focused on legality, crime prevention, and victim assistance. The gathering brought together representatives from the security sector, civil society, and the private sector, as well as allied media. During the event, the urgency of collective action was emphasized in the face of the country's severe crisis of security and justice. Naim Escalante Félix outlined the strategic pillars of the 2026 presidency, based on unity, professionalization, and social responsibility, and presented five priority projects. These include the 'Hasta Encontrarte' Search Network, aimed at supporting families of missing persons, and the 'Navidad con Dignidad' program to assist families in contexts of violence. This leadership transition reaffirms the civic vocation of the Chapultepec Initiative – Seguridad por México and its conviction that security is built when civil society, the private sector, associations, and authorities work together.
