Her relationship with the president began in Mexico City, when she was Head of Government and he was a local deputy for the PRD, jumping through a mutual agreement to the ruling party. Another figure appointed is the director of Fonatur, Sebastián Ramírez, who will work on the future electoral prospects for the 4T in Guerrero. This time, unlike in recent elections, there will also be state coordinators, who will be responsible for meeting electoral goals and coordinating local strategies with the guidelines that will come from the capital's Zócalo. President Claudia Sheinbaum, for example, is already thinking about the midterm elections that will mark the future of her term, so in recent weeks she has appointed a series of delegates in each state. Their mission will be to start working on the strategy that will be deployed and on the candidacies that will be defined in the coming months through polls. Just as in 2024, the ruling party has coordinators by constituency. Despite having left party militancy, the head of state is not willing to leave the electoral results to chance, let alone the future of her administration. In public, the ruling party asks for time and waits to define the electoral structure for 2027. While waiting for this structure to gain more formality and professionalism, an idea begins to become clear for the different groups within the 4T: Claudia Sheinbaum will play a leading role in the electoral structure and in the 2027 elections. Some of them have already been appointed. Tension: Esquivel takes advantage of the crisis of Jesús Ramírez and proposes himself as his replacement in the Presidency. According to officialist sources, the general secretary of the IMSS, Jorge Gaviño, was appointed in Coahuila, where he will have the difficult task of moving the ruling party forward in an entity that it has never governed and where the PRI governor, Manolo Jiménez, maintains a recognized positive image among the local citizenry. Among them are, for example, Adán Augusto, Ricardo Monreal, and Alejandro Peña. As a result of this, Sheinbaum entrusted him with greater responsibilities. In the past, he was president of Morena in CDMX, where he orchestrated much of the winning campaign of Clara Brugada and the advance of the ruling party at the local level and in several mayoralties after the 2021 setback. In private, the officialist machinery is beginning to pick up speed. Among them, for example, the reconstruction of Acapulco, which led him to take on this new task. Félix Salgado seeks to land in Acapulco to maintain quotas and there is discontent in the 4T. For the moment, the complete list of appointed figures remains under strict secrecy, but some names are beginning to circulate and others to appear in various meetings that are attracting attention.
