Mexico City Government Adjusts Cabinet Following Ángel Tamariz's Departure

The administration led by Clara Brugada is making changes to its cabinet following the departure of Ángel Tamariz from the Public Digital Innovation Agency (ADIP), to join as a deputy in the Congress of Mexico City under the banner of Morena. The Morena parliamentary group in the capital's Congress welcomed Tamariz Sánchez, highlighting that his experience will strengthen the legislative work of the caucus. The new legislator is a founding member of Morena and has a solid political career, mainly in the Álvaro Obregón mayor's office, where he has driven various initiatives for the benefit of the community. Before taking on his new role, Tamaris served as head of ADIP, from where he promoted the digital transformation of the capital's government, implementing technological tools to bring public services closer to citizens and improve government attention. In this regard, the coordinator of Morena in the local Congress, Xóchitl Bravo, expressed the support of the 4T: “The Morena caucus welcomes him to this space. We will continue working for the good of the people of this city.” With this move, Morena's parliamentary group reinforces its presence in the capital's Congress and reaffirms its commitment to building a more just, inclusive, and democratic city.
