Nevertheless, she emphasized the need to maintain respect for the National Palace, both for its historical value and its status as a national heritage.«But it must be said that it is not prohibited, there is no regulation in the National Palace that says: 'You cannot go out to sunbathe on the window,'» the head of state clarified.Finally, she indicated that an internal review of what happened was conducted, reiterated the importance of caring for the spaces that are part of the country's heritage, and assured that the person has already been sanctioned.«One must have great respect for what the National Palace represents as a historical heritage, obviously. After they reviewed it, it turns out that there had indeed been a person who had sat by the window that day,» the president reported.Sheinbaum pointed out that there is no specific prohibition against leaning out of a window inside the premises, as there is no regulation that establishes it.
