French rider Julien Dupont turned a roller coaster ride in Mexico City into an extreme show. He rode his motorcycle through the entire structure of the attraction, performing stunts. This was not his first daring stunt in the capital of Mexico: previously, he had ridden his motorcycle over cars on the Viaduct. In 2014, Dupont decided to conquer the Chapultepec Fair roller coaster, but not in a regular car, but on his bike. He called this one of the most extreme events of his career. The rider traveled the 1.2-kilometer wooden structure, which reached a height of 33 meters at its highest points, overcoming the climbs several times. Along the way, he performed various stunts such as wheelies and backflips. After the short ride, the Red Bull team celebrated the French motorcyclist's feat. "I feel much better now. This morning I was very nervous because I'm not used to getting on things like this (a roller coaster)," Dupont shared. He also praised Mexico: "That's why I love Mexico, because it's a place where the impossible becomes possible." Born in 1980 in Lyon, France, Dupont not only mastered trial freestyle but also brought this discipline to unconventional settings, turning it into an urban spectacle. He started with a bicycle and later moved to a motorcycle. Over time, he moved away from traditional competitions to focus on creating his own style, blending elements of BMX, skateboarding, and motocross. In collaboration with Red Bull, he has performed stunts in urban settings, from the favelas in Brazil to active volcanoes in Greece. Today, Dupont no longer seeks danger: "Today I no longer seek that search for danger, but simply the pleasure of riding a motorcycle in open spaces."
