The Mexican Institute of Social Security condemned the murder of Hugo Cavazos, deputy representative of the IMSS in Montemorelos. The attack occurred around 14:00 hours on Monday at the intersection of Manuel José Othón and Geranio streets in the Gil de Leyva neighborhood. Cavazos was shot while driving a Honda vehicle by criminals who opened fire on him.
Regarding this tragic event, the IMSS representation in Nuevo León expressed sorrow for what occurred and extended solidarity to Cavazos' family and friends. The Institute stated that it would collaborate with the relevant authorities in the necessary investigations to clarify what happened.
