The government of Nuevo León has completed a major overhaul of the public transportation system, leading to a significant improvement in security. As stated by the governor, March was the safest month in the last 16 years. As part of this initiative, 4,000 new buses have been acquired, equipped with cameras connected to the centralized C5 security system, panic buttons, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. Each bus features dedicated women's sections, full accessibility for people with disabilities, and operates on eco-friendly fuels, including fully electric systems, contributing to better air quality. "We are doing what wasn't done in 40 years," the governor noted. "With every step, we are building a Nuevo León that moves forward and improves the daily lives of its inhabitants." As an example, 28 new buses were deployed to Route 41, which serves the municipalities of Pesquería, Apodaca, San Nicolás, Guadalupe, and Monterrey, benefiting over 106,000 residents. The governor also emphasized that his administration has exceeded its initial promise by ordering an additional 200 buses from Volvo and Marco Polo for the upcoming World Cup. "This is the legacy of the new Nuevo León," he stated, "and it is a commitment we will not let go of."
