The governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, praised the work done by Martha Herrera and her team, highlighting the fundamental role they play in the communities they reach. García expressed his pride in the first place that the state occupies in various aspects, such as salaries, business creation, and jobs, among others.

The governor mentioned that they are working to improve mobility and air quality, and emphasized that, despite the presence of Donald Trump in the United States, Nuevo León is in a prominent position, primarily due to the reduction of homicides in the entity. García attributed part of these achievements to the work of Javier Navarro, Secretary General of Government, and Fuerza Civil, who have achieved a 70% reduction in homicides.

Regarding the promotion of civil society, Nuevo León is positioned as a national leader in this aspect, being the only state with a specific regulatory and institutional framework for this purpose. During a meeting with nearly 300 civil organizations, the governor reaffirmed the commitment of the State Government to organized civil society, highlighting the increase in the budget and the continuous improvement of the program to promote Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

García emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and civil society, highlighting that this model has proven to be a success in Nuevo León. The governor mentioned that citizenship, the private initiative, and civil organizations are the best allies, and praised the work of institutions such as Cáritas and Hunger Zero, emphasizing that the support provided by these entities equals a greater benefit than expected, thus demonstrating the effectiveness of collaboration between the public sector and civil society.
