Adrián Marcelo Sanctioned for Gender Violence

Adrián Marcelo has been sanctioned by an electoral tribunal in Nuevo León for comments regarding Mariana Rodríguez, citing political and gender violence during recent elections. This follows past accusations of similar behavior during 'La Casa de los Famosos México 2024.'

Adrián Marcelo Sanctioned for Gender Violence

Adrián Marcelo, one of the contestants of La Casa de los Famosos México 2024, was recently indicated and pointed out by the appointed judge Nuevо-León for comments regarding Marianna Rodríguez. These accusations are based on gender-based hate, and this is not the first case where a public institution points out comments from this participant. The question arises as to why Adrián Marcelo was indicated by the appointed judge related to preliminary elections for the mayorship of Nuevo-León, where Marianna Rodríguez was running for the position of mayor of Monterrey. The wife of Samuel Garcia himself filed a complaint against the former contestant of La Casa de los Famosos México 2024, as well as against Emilio de la Garza, criticizing the PRI, PAN, and PRD parties for comments against young women. According to the statement of the appointed judge, mentioned in a journalistic interview published on his YouTube channel, political and gender-based hate was committed by Andrés Marcelo. However, the text does not specify whether this will be material or some other compensation.

Adrián Marcelo himself commented on his indication through his personal account, where he quickly asked how much money he needed to pay. He also used space for jokes about this matter, publicly posting photographs with Marianna Rodríguez and saying that he looks good 'in black'.

This is not the first time Adrián Marcelo is held responsible for hate directed at women. The first case occurred during his participation in La Casa de los Famosos México 2024, when the Women’s Ministry of Mexico presented the conflict between him and Gala Montes, where he, according to the agency's statement, exhibited harmful stereotypes about women.
