Violence Erupts at Naucalpan School: Students Detained

Two students from Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades in Naucalpan have been detained after a violent incident involving gunfire and explosions at the school. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, but security measures are being increased.

Two students from the Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades (CCH) Naucalpan were arrested and charged by the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico after an incident of violence that occurred on campus. The individuals, identified as Mario and Asher Gabriel, face charges for firearm discharge and dangerous attack.

During the incident, spent casings were found, and firecracker explosions were heard, although only one exploded. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported as a result of this incident. According to authorities, the event took place within the college's facilities.

In response to these events, the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) has taken disciplinary measures to expel the students involved in the incident. Additionally, plans have been announced to reinforce security on campus, such as the installation of a metal detector arch and the implementation of surveillance cameras.

As reported by the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico, the legal process against the two students in question is expected to continue, while UNAM is taking concrete steps to address security at CCH Naucalpan and prevent similar incidents in the future.
