Capture of General Director of Hoteles Misión

Roberto Luis Z.L., chairman of the board and general director of Hoteles Misión, was arrested for an alleged fraud of more than 45 million pesos against the owners of the Hotel San Felipe Misión in Oaxaca. Another person arrested in relation to the case is Gerardo J.C.S, administrator of Miscorpus S.A. de C.V.

According to the Oaxaca Attorney General's Office, Roberto Luis Z.L. had signed a contract with Miscorpus S.A de C.V., managed by Gerardo J.C.S, without the victim's permission, giving up the operation and management of the Hotel San Felipe Misión. After the capture of both suspects in Mexico City, they were transferred to Oaxaca to face the criminal process for fraud.

The Attorney General's Office indicated that Roberto Luis Z.L. stopped paying the agreed rents since January 2022, generating a debt of more than 45 million pesos until February 2025. The contract involved the leasing of the Hotel San Felipe Misión located in Oaxaca.

Due to the breach, a special trial was initiated that resulted in the retention of assets and the appointment of an intervener for the Hotel San Felipe Misión. This intervention revealed that Lusami S.A de C.V., represented by Roberto Luis Z.L., was involved in the contract signed without the owners' consent.
